September 6, 2025: Calumet City, IL 60409 The Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) volleyball held off the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Hillcrest for a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, September 9. Richards will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Thornton Fractional North drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Meteors travel to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL) to clash with the Red Wolves in a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Red Wolves come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Thornton Fractional South won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL)
