Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats (18-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-16 record. In their last challenge, Ford was beaten by Commerce (Commerce, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels meet the Community Braves (Nevada, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Rivercrest will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 5-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Commerce (Commerce, TX).
