September 6, 2025: Wilsonville, OR 97070 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Wilsonville Wildcats (Wilsonville, OR) and the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR), observed Wilsonville's volleyball team top Roosevelt by a tally of 2-0.
The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Broncos enter the 5A Northwest Oregon contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Parkrose was defeated by Hood River Valley (Hood River, OR), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Roughriders now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a 6A Portland Interscholastic test on Wednesday, September 10. Roosevelt will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Benson Tech (Portland, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
