California High School Volleyball - St. Anthony over Walnut
September 6, 2025: Long Beach, CA 90802 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) and the visiting Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA), observed St. Anthony's volleyball team top Walnut by a tally of 2-0.
The Saints (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Knights go into the Del Rey test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Bishop Montgomery achieved victory over Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glendora for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Walnut will encounter a Tartans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA). The Tartans record now stands at 4-3.
