September 6, 2025: Colton, SD 57018 The Viborg/Hurley Cougars volleyball squad (Viborg, SD), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD)
The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Tanagers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Vermillion beat Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Viborg/Hurley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, SD).
