September 6, 2025: Inwood, IA 51240 The Vermillion Tanagers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host West Lyon Wildcats to 0 in the Tanagers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tanagers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garretson for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Vermillion will confront a Blue Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Baltic (Baltic, SD). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 0-3.
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Sioux Center defeated Algona (Algona, IA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
