September 7, 2022: Owings, MD 20736 The Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) football defeated the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), 27-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 15. Northern will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 24-12 non-league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD).
The Braves (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Huntingtown defeated Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
