September 7, 2022: Buchanan, VA 24066 The James River Knights football team scored 20 points and held the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues to 8 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Covington (Covington, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
The Fighting Blues now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain View for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 14. Parry McCluer will meet a Generals team coming off a 26-6 non-league win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Generals record now stands at 1-0.
