Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Scots confront the Loudonville Redbirds (Loudonville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Highland will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Redbirds enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 6-0 league loss to Central Christian (Kidron, OH).

The Spartans now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Valley for a Mid-Ohio challenge on Thursday, September 15.
