In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Sunrise Mountain Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Higley Knights.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 8. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Mountain View (Mesa, AZ).

With the loss, Higley drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, September 8.
