The Unity/Seymour Mustangs (Mendon, IL) football edged the visiting Brown County Hornets (Mt. Sterling, IL), 22-21 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Camp Point Central Panthers (Camp Point, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley - North bout, on Saturday, September 16.
