The Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) football tipped the visiting West Warwick Wizards (West Warwick, RI), 27-24 in Thursday's non-league game.

The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos come into the Division II-A game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Burrillville was tipped by Barrington (Barrington, RI), 28-7, in a non-league game.

The Wizards now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponaganset for a Division III-B game on Friday, September 15. West Warwick will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 38-0 non-league win over North Smithfield/Mount St. Charles Academy (North Smithfield, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-0.
