September 7, 2023: Trinity, NC 27370 In Thursday's non-league game, the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) football team knocked off the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), by a score of 32-6.
The Villains (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptor come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Mountain Island Charter toppled Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 43-0, in a non-league game.
The Warriors now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Stanly for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Wheatmore will battle a Rowdy Rebel Bulls team coming off a 20-6 non-league loss to South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 1-2.
