September 7, 2023: Woodstock, IL 60098 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) and the visiting Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL), saw Woodstock North's soccer squad knock off Antioch by a margin of 3-1.
The Thunder now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Marengo for a Kishwaukee River test on Friday, September 8. Woodstock North will meet a Indians squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Indians record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Antioch drops to 3-4 on the season. The Sequoits host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to meet the Scouts in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9.
