September 7, 2023: Siler City, NC 27344 In Thursday's non-league game, the Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) soccer squad tipped the host Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC), by a final score of 2-1.
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Woods Charter was edged by Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Asheboro Hybrid Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. Chatham Charter will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league win over Sheets Memorial Christian (Lexington, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 7-3.
