September 7, 2023: Red Springs, NC 28377 In Thursday's non-league game, the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) soccer squad tipped the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), by a count of 2-1.
The Buccaneers (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Rams come into the United Eight 3A/4A test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Purnell Swett was tipped by Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC), 6-0, in a league test.
With the loss, Red Springs drops to 0-2 on the season. The Red devils travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-6.
