Illinois High School Soccer - Stevenson knocks off Lake Zurich
September 7, 2023: Lincolnshire, IL 60069 Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), 3-0 in a league bout.
With the win, Stevenson moves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL) to battle the Blue Devils in a North Suburban - Lake bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 9. Lake Zurich will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL).
