September 7, 2023: Spartanburg, SC 29307 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) and the host Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), saw Blue Ridge's volleyball squad beat Spartanburg by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Fighting Tigers host Greer Middle College (Taylors, SC) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 13. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 2-2.
The Vikings now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to James F. Byrnes for a AAAAA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 12.
