Oregon High School Volleyball - Weston-McEwen Grant Union
September 7, 2023: John Day, OR 97845 The Grant Union Prospectors topped the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Prospectors now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie City for a non-league test on Friday, September 8. Grant Union will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
The TigerScots (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs enter the 2A Blue Mountain test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Heppner gained a win over Irrigon (Irrigon, OR), 3-0, in a league test.
