September 7, 2023: Malden, MA 02148 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mystic Valley Regional Eagles (Malden, MA) and the visiting Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies (Andover, MA), saw Mystic Valley Regional's volleyball squad beat Greater Lawrence Tech by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Mystic Valley Regional upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Eagles host Pioneer Charter School of Science II (Saugus, MA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Reggies now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Greater Lawrence Tech will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Minuteman Regional (Lexington, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
