September 7, 2023: Kankakee, IL 60901 The Kankakee Kays topped the visiting Thornridge Falcons volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Kays now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kankakee Trinity Academy for a non-league test on Monday, September 11. Kankakee will confront a team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL). The record now stands at 11-1.
The Falcons (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Thornton Fractional North was knocked off by Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
