September 7, 2023: Itta Bena, MS 38941 Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Delta Bulldogs (Rolling Fork, MS), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) in a Class 2 Region 3 match, on Tuesday, September 12. Leflore County will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 9-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Shaw (Shaw, MS).
With the loss, South Delta drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a Class 1 Region 3 match on Tuesday, September 19. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 8-1. West Bolivar lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS)
