Missouri High School Football - Cornerstone crushed by Bluejacket
September 7, 2024: Joplin, MO 64804 Bluejacket Chieftains (Bluejacket, OK) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Cornerstone Spartans (Joplin, MO), 62-28 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Bluejacket improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Coyle (Coyle, OK) to play the Bluejackets in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Bluejackets go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Coyle lost 46-0 in their recent non-league bout against Yale (Yale, OK)
The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Crossover Prep for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. Cornerstone will encounter a Lions team coming off a 50-24 non-league loss to Dewar (Dewar, OK). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
