September 7, 2024: West Linn, OR 97068 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the West Linn Lions (West Linn, OR) and the visiting Eagle Mustangs (Eagle, ID), witnessed West Linn's football squad wallop Eagle by a tally of 51-14.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sherwood (Sherwood, OR). The Bowmen enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Sherwood crushed Roosevelt (Portland, OR), 42-7, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Centennial Patriots (Boise, ID) in a 6A Southern Idaho contest, on Friday, September 13. Eagle will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 21-3 non-league loss to Thunder Ridge (Idaho Falls, ID).
