The St. Augustine Purple Knights football squad scored 21 points and limited the host McDonogh 35 Roneagles to 14 in the Purple Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Purple Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East St. John for a non-league match on Friday, September 13. St. Augustine will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
