California High School Flag Football - Watsonville thwarted by Sacramento Adventist
September 7, 2024: Watsonville, CA 95076 Sacramento Adventist Capitals (Carmichael, CA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA), 28-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sacramento Adventist improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Capitals host Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to play the Mavericks in a Sierra Delta League battle on Monday, September 9. The Mavericks go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Mesa Verde lost 28-19 in their recent non-league battle against Woodland (Woodland, CA)
The Wildcatz now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host King City for a battle on Monday, September 9. Watsonville will play a Mustangs team coming off a 26-6 non-league win over Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
