Indiana High School Soccer - Plainfield knocks off Lafayette Central Catholic
September 7, 2024: Lafayette, IN 47909 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) and the host Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN), saw Plainfield's soccer squad knock off Lafayette Central Catholic by a count of 3-0.
The Quakers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN). The Falcons enter the Mid-State battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Perry Meridian tipped Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Knights battle the Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Lafayette Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Benton Central (Oxford, IN).
