Washington, DC High School Football - Wise loses to Friendship Collegiate Academy
September 7, 2024: Washington, DC 20019 Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD), 14-2 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Friendship Collegiate Academy advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights host Southern (Harwood, MD) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Pumas now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Eleanor Roosevelt for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Wise will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to New Town (Owings Mills, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
