Colorado High School Football - Mesa Ridge thwarted by Northfield
September 7, 2024: Denver, CO 80238 Northfield Nighthawks (Denver, CO) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Mesa Ridge Grizzlies (Colorado Springs, CO), 30-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Northfield improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Nighthawks host Heritage (Littleton, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, September 16. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Heritage lost 34-26 in their recent non-league battle against Arapahoe (Centennial, CO)
The Grizzlies now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dakota Ridge for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14. Mesa Ridge will play a Eagles team coming off a 34-0 non-league win over Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
