Ohio High School Football - Pleasant can't hold off Shelby
September 7, 2024: Shelby, OH 44875 Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH), 34-27 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Shelby improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Whippets travel to Marion Harding (Marion, OH) to play the Presidents in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14. The Presidents go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Spartans now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to River Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. Pleasant will play a Vikings team coming off a 22-20 non-league win over Clear Fork (Bellville, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
