Michigan High School Soccer - Belding toppled by Fruitport
September 7, 2024: Fruitport, MI 49415 Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Belding Black Knights (Belding, MI), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Fruitport moves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Hopkins (Hopkins, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-5. Hopkins lost 6-1 in their recent league test against Belding (Belding, MI)
The Black Knights now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Godwin Heights for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Tuesday, September 10. Belding will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Fruitport (Fruitport, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-1.
