September 7, 2024: Kankakee, IL 60901 Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros (Chicago, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cristo Rey Jesuit moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Cristeros travel to Northtown (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Pumas in a Chicago Prep test on Monday, September 9. The Pumas come into the test with a record of 3-0. Northtown won 9-0 in their recent league test against Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL)
The Kays now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bradley-Bourbonnais for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Kankakee will clash with a Boilermakers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 3-4.
