Michigan High School Soccer - Ferndale nudges Garden City
September 7, 2024: Garden City, MI 48135 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Ferndale Eagles (Ferndale, MI) and the host Garden City Cougars (Garden City, MI), saw Ferndale's soccer squad hold off Garden City by a score of 1-0.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI). The Zebras enter the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Wayne Memorial was edged by Churchill (Livonia, MI), 5-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne - Red battle, on Monday, September 9. Garden City will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
