Oklahoma High School Softball - Cordell can't get by Fort Cobb-Broxton
September 7, 2024: Cordell, OK 73632 Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs (Fort Cobb, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cordell Blue Devils (Cordell, OK), 7-6 in a non-league contest.
With the triumph, Fort Cobb-Broxton improves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Fletcher (Fletcher, OK) to face the Wildcats in a Class A contest on Tuesday, September 10. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 13-8. Fletcher won 5-4 in their recent league contest against Velma-Alma (Velma, OK)
The Blue Devils now hold a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Sayre for a 2A contest on Monday, September 9. Cordell will face a Eagles squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Hobart (Hobart, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 7-9.
