The Skyline Thunderbirds (Pratt, KS) volleyball held off the visiting Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. John for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. Skyline will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Burrton (Burrton, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
