September 7, 2024: Bayonne, NJ 07002 Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Newark Vocational Eagles (Newark, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Bayonne improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bees host Memorial (West New York, NJ) to face the Tigers in a Hudson County - Coviello test on Monday, September 9. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barringer for a non-league test on Friday, September 13.
