September 7, 2024: Cary, IL 60013 Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lake Forest advances its record to 2-8 on the season. The Scouts travel to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 0-4. Marian Catholic lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL)
The Trojans now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie Ridge for a Fox Valley test on Tuesday, September 10. Cary-Grove will face a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 3-3.
