September 7, 2024: Cerritos, CA 90703 Cerritos Dons (Cerritos, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cerritos improves its record to 4-6 on the season. The Dons host California (Whittier, CA) to face the Condors in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Condors go into the test with a record of 1-12. California won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA)
The Gladiators now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Marquez will face a Yankees squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA). The Yankees record now stands at 1-4.
