September 7, 2024: Coeburn, VA 24230 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN) and the host Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA), observed Livingston Academy's volleyball team top Eastside by a count of 2-0.
The Wildcats (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Collinwood (Collinwood, TN). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Collinwood was knocked off by Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Spartans meet the Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 10. Eastside will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
