Gloria Deo Academy Lions (Bulverde, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Texas School for the Deaf Rangers (Austin, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gloria Deo Academy improves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Providence Catholic (San Antonio, TX) to face the Provets in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Provets go into the test with a record of 3-11.

The Rangers now own a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Round Rock Christian Academy for a TAPPS 4A District 4 test on Tuesday, September 10. Texas School for the Deaf will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX). The Crusaders record now stands at 14-5.
