California High School Volleyball - Mark Keppel over Hawthorne
September 7, 2024: Hawthorne, CA 90250 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mark Keppel Aztecs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Hawthorne Cougars.
The Aztecs (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (La Palma, CA). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy beat Valencia (Placentia, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Monday, September 9. Hawthorne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Apaches enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Dominguez (Compton, CA).
