The Warren Central Vikings edged the visiting Pillow Academy Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Vikings face the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a Class 6A Region 2 game, on Monday, September 9. Warren Central will attempt to advance on its 16-7 season record. The Titans go into the game with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Columbus (Columbus, MS).

The Mustangs (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Pisgah nudged Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 3-2, in a non-league game.
