September 7, 2024: Fredericksburg, VA 22407 The Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) volleyball held off the visiting Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Albemarle for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. Riverbend will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Stone Bridge drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Northside (Roanoke, VA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7.
