With the win, Santa Clara advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bruins travel to Presentation (San Jose, CA) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-2. Presentation lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Pioneer (San Jose, CA)
The Wildcats now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Altos for a non-league test on Sunday, September 8. Woodside will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
