New York High School Soccer - Northeastern Clinton knocks off Chatham
September 7, 2025: Champlain, NY 12919 The Northeastern Clinton Cougars soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Chatham Panthers to 2 in the Cougars non-league victory on Sunday.
The Cougars now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Beekmantown for a Northern bout on Friday, September 12. Northeastern Clinton will face a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Marcellus (Marcellus, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY). The Titans enter the Patroon contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Taconic Hills held off Watervliet (Watervliet, NY), 10-1, in a league contest.
