Maine High School Soccer - Thornton Academy knocks off Kennebunk
September 8, 2022: Saco, ME 04072 Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Kennebunk Rams (Kennebunk, ME), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a Class A - South challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Thornton Academy will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Scots enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Cheverus (Portland, ME).
The Rams now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Falmouth for a Class A - South challenge on Monday, September 12. Kennebunk will confront a Navigators team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Sanford (Sanford, ME). The Navigators record now stands at 2-1.
