In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting South Pointe Stallions football squad scored a big 53-12 victory over the West Mecklenburg Hawks.

In their next game, the Stallions clash with the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 6. South Pointe will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Bruins enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 24-18 non-league loss to Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC).
