September 8, 2022: Palo Alto, CA 94301 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) volleyball squad edged the host Castilleja Gators (Palo Alto, CA), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Black Bears battle the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 10. Summit Shasta will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Matadors come into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Homestead (Cupertino, CA).
With the loss, Castilleja drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Gators host Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA) to battle the Gryphons in a contest on Tuesday, September 13. The Gryphons come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Crystal Springs Uplands won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Pacific Bay Christian (Pacifica, CA)
