September 8, 2022: Canton, CT 06019 Canton Warriors (Canton, CT) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Canton will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Weston (Weston, CT).
The Vikings now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Old Lyme for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 10. East Lyme will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 league win over Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
