Eagle Mustangs (Eagle, ID) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Capital Golden Eagles (Boise, ID), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Centennial Patriots (Boise, ID) in a 5A District III challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Eagle will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID).

The Golden Eagles now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgevue for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 10. Capital will confront a Warhawks team coming off a 4-1 league win over Columbia (Nampa, ID). The Warhawks record now stands at 4-4.
